Role Purpose
The Practice Lead is accountable for overall client engagement, delivery excellence, and value realization across large sourcing and procurement engagements. The role provides leadership to global delivery teams and works closely with client leadership, operations, solution design, and analytics teams to drive program success, risk management, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Own overall client relationship and senior stakeholder engagement.
- Provide leadership to global delivery teams across accounts.
- Accountable for end-to-end delivery, service quality, and SLA performance.
- Manage delivery risks and drive mitigation plans.
- Lead engagement governance, steering committees, and executive reviews.
- Due Diligence, Process Definition, Knowledge Transfers, Training, Hiring and setting up operations teams.
- Direct program landing, transitions, and operating model setup.
- Drive solution adoption, technology enablement, and transformation initiatives.
- Guide teams on client procurement policies and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with Solution Design teams on large and complex solutions.
Experience & Domain Expertise
- Strong experience of 15+ years in:
- Procurement Outsourcing and BPO delivery.
- Proven experience managing large client engagements and global teams.
- Experience in contract management, supplier consolidation, and supplier risk management.
- Experience working with aggregators and integrated service providers.
- Expertise in large sourcing programs, eRFx, and complex tenders.
- Category experience across Indirect, Direct, MRO, Capex, and Services spend.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong people management and team leadership skills.
- Knowledge of Strategic Sourcing and Costing Models
- Knowledge of Development and application of GenAI use cases for S&P.
- Hands-on knowledge of procurement tools (Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer).
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics).
- Ability to work across multiple industry verticals, time zones & cultures.
